Energy Efficiency Techniques in Wireless Body Area Networks: A Comprehensive Review
摘要
Wireless Body Area Networks have become more and more popular over time. Sensor nodes for these wireless networks are located within or on the body. Since the nodes are located throughout the human body, they must be small. However, these small sensors also come with small batteries. To increase the network's longevity, this energy needs to be used efficiently. Numerous studies have been conducted on a variety of methods for both Energy Conserving and Harnessing in networks through the use of different hardware and optimized algorithms. In order to save energy, this survey focuses on two primary strategies: Energy Harvesting and the use of Optimized Routing Protocols.
