Artificial intelligence chatbots are changing the way colleges engage and admit students. This paper discusses the use of AI chatbot technology specifically in the context of college admission, which enables students to receive information regarding the admissions process, courses, tuition, and facilities at the college. The system operates continuously without human involvement in active hours using natural language processing and learning to answer diverse queries of different people and languages. The review of report and the data collected during and after the implementation of the system reveal noticeable reduction of the time it takes to respond to the students questions with 85% of the queries being automatic and unanswered by humans thus increasing students’ satisfaction, lives of the administration and work pressure. The chatbot seems to be particularly useful for providing basic information about the applications, such as the deadlines, criteria and required documents. This advancement not only reduces the burden of the colleges yet also improves the experience of the potential students that are looking to pursue higher education.
