This research intent to examine the level of motivation of elementary physical education teachers after the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study examines the level of motivation in various aspects: physiological needs, safety and security needs, affiliation or acceptance needs, appreciation or status needs, self-actualization. This study involved several physical education teachers at the elementary school level in Kapanewon Godean, Sleman Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method. The population in this study were all physical education teachers at Godean Elementary School, Sleman Regency. The sample in this study were 10 physical education teachers at the elementary school in Kapanewon Godean. The instrument used is Abraham Maslow’s work motivation model and analyzed with descriptive data analysis with proportions. The results of research on the motivation of Kapanewon Godean physical education and health teachers in teaching after the Covid-19 Pandemic show that the average motivation is in the medium category. First, the value of the physiological needs category is 57% on moderate motivation. Second, based on the safety and security needs category, a high score of 83% was obtained, Third, based on the affiliation or acceptance needs category, a score of 42% was obtained for moderate motivation. Fourth, based on the category of esteem or status needs, a score of 60% was obtained for moderate motivation. Then the last one in the Self Actualization category obtained a value of 46% which means moderate. This study shows that the average motivation of elementary school physical education teachers after the Covid-19 Pandemic Kapanewon Godean is moderate. It is hoped that the results of this study can become a reference to further increase the learning motivation of physical education teachers at the elementary school level in Kapanewon Godean to make them even better. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research related to the motivational level of Physical Education Teachers at the elementary school level, not only Abraham Maslow’s research on human needs, but also other research on motivational levels from McClelland’s Theory on the need for achievement, then research on the level of motivation from Victor H. Vroom about the theory of hope and so on.
