This study aimed to study the effect of the walking football obesity exercise program on the weight, abdominal circumference, and hip circumference among obese individuals. This research was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study on 12 obese postgraduate students (52% male). The walking football obesity exercise was conducted thrice weekly for four weeks (12 sessions). Each session was conducted within 150 min. Weight was measured using body weight scales, while tape measures were used to measure the abdominal and hip circumference. Wilcoxon sign rank tests were used to analyze to compare pre and post-test data. The results indicated that the walking football obesity exercise did not elicit weight loss (p = 0.135). The walking football exercise, however, reduced weight circumference from 106.5 ± 13.1 cm to 101.5 ± 12.7 cm (p = 0.002) and hip circumference from 110.1 ± 12.1 cm to 107.1 ± 11.9 cm (p = 0.005). It could be concluded that walking football obesity could improve abdominal and hip circumference.
