Chapter 8 focuses on adsorbents. Firstly, in the section on adsorption principles, the adsorption phenomenon was explained, distinguishing between physical adsorption and chemical adsorption. It also covered adsorption isotherms and adsorption isotherms, adsorption rates, factors influencing adsorption, as well as static adsorption and dynamic adsorption, among other contents. Next, we introduce adsorbents and activated carbon. We first elaborate on adsorbents and then focus on activated carbon. Finally, it discusses enhanced coagulation and adsorbents, covering knowledge related to enhanced coagulation and adsorption-enhanced coagulation.
