Dickinson’s Nature from a Philosophical Perspective
摘要
To many people, philosophy is something that is complex and abstract, not so easy to understand and define. But, some scholar declares that a person “philosophizes” when reflecting “critically” about “living,” which includes “passions, faiths, doubts, and courage.” In this case, one can define “philosophy” as “critical inquiry into what all these things mean and imply” (Royce 2; ref. Ben ix). And “Traditionally, philosophy starts with a sense of wonder” (Rabaté 1).
