The magical impact of “artificial intelligence (AI)” in medicine unveils transformative strategies with the potential to provide promising solutions and reshape the entire healthcare landscape. This chapter comprehensively analyzes AI’s significant advancements in medical science. It explores the key milestones reached at the intersections of AI and medicine, providing a subtle investigation. It focuses on fundamental AI concepts, emphasizing diverse learning strategies (supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning). Various healthcare applications, especially early diagnostic techniques, are explored by assessing the significance of integrating diverse medical imaging modalities such as “X-ray,” “magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),” “computer tomography (CT),” and “mammography” in cancer detection. Moreover, this chapter ascribes the importance of combining holography microscopic medical imaging with “deep learning (DL)” for early disease detection. AI’s critical role in drug discovery is also highlighted as a key factor in addressing severe diseases. Moreover, this chapter delves into integrating robotics and context-aware systems in medicine, enhancing precision and efficiency in clinical practices. Beyond technological advancements, the chapter examines the challenges associated with AI in healthcare and discusses ethical considerations surrounding its implementation.
