Of course the end of the two World Wars and the establishment of the United Nations was a pleasant moment for the world, for finally peace was established and war came to an end; however, the arrangements that took place in the aftermath of the war were not pleasant to the rest of the world. While the Europeans secured their peace, the Palestinians were challenged with a threat of losing their lands to migrants crossing the Mediterranean and establishing a state at the expense of the original inhabitants; a war sparked in 1948 followed by a series of endless wars that are still recurring since the establishment of this international order until today in 2025. The Indian nation suffered from the partition of India and Pakistan, and several wars were fought between the neighbors. The Korean Peninsula was divided, and a fierce war was fought from 1950 until 1953 with millions of victims, and the division is still happening today in 2025. A tragic war in Vietnam destroyed a nation that barely took its independence from the French colonial rule. Africa suffered from an endless series of civil wars and coups incited by the ex-colonial powers, which are still in control of the wealth, market, and diamonds of the continent. Those nations, despite the establishment of the United Nations, have never gained true independence. And while the Western European countries and North America continued to grow their wealth and maintain their peace and security, the rest of the world was dwelling in poverty and conflicts.
