Concealed in Art: An Approach to Secure Communication Using Style Transfer, AES and RSA Encryption, and LSB Steganography
摘要
In today’s modern age of the digital world, secure communication over the internet is crucial for protecting sensitive information against unauthorized access and cyber threats. The methods which include cryptography and steganography have some limitations concerning security and detectability. This work proposes a new mechanism integrating RSA and AES encryption, Neural Style Transfer, and LSB steganography that will offer high security with regard to data transfer. It encrypts the data with AES, secures the encryption key with RSA, and finally conceals the encrypted data in the style-transferred image using LSB steganography–the ultimate disguise to mask its existence. The added use of style transfer further increases this concealment by making changes to the visual appearance of the carrier image. With a histogram overlap of 99.916%, a Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) of 36.854 dB, and a Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) of 0.99278, the experimental findings show that the method is effective. These measurements attest to the method’s low distortion and excellent data embedding, which makes it ideal for secure communication over the networked world.
