Multi-attributes Inventory Management Policy for a Pump Manufacturing Industry Using Modified Pythagorean Fuzzy TODIM Approach
摘要
This paper enumerates the multi-attributes group decision making (MAGDM) approach used for ABC inventory categorization by applying the modified Pythagorean Fuzzy TODIM method which is an extended version of Pythagorean Fuzzy TODIM approach. The proposed inventory management policy is implemented on a real life case study of a pump manufacturing industry which is located in the eastern region of India. In this context, criteria weights are assigned by the Best–Worst method (BWM) and degree of weakness of each criterion is computed with the degree of dominance to achieve the optimal value of inventory. A sensitivity analysis was performed to validate the proposed MAGDM technique. Moreover, a comparative analysis is conducted among other and the proposed MCIC system for a data set of pump manufacturing organization mentioned in this paper. The results obtained by modified Pythagorean Fuzzy TODIM approach are more superior in terms of safety stock inventory cost which can be depicted from inventory performance analysis. Overall, this paper offers a novel approach to multi-criteria-based inventory control system which ensures an effective solution to manage a wide range of stock items of a pump manufacturing company.
