Terminology is the most important component in translation work, carrying the soul information of language. The article combined the artificial intelligence translator DeepL to study terminology management in translation projects, analyzed the current status and problems of terminology management, and pointed out the future development trends of terminology management. The results showed that the coverage rate of the translation project terminology management system based on the artificial intelligence translator DeepL reached up to 98%, and the consistency reached 97%. This study can not only provide reference for translators, but also provide ideas and references for the development of artificial intelligence translation technology.
