This study investigates gender disparities among secondary school students in domains like education. Data is collected from 414 high school students using a questionnaire. The research identifies specific sector with gender disparities in education constructing a School Education Index. Statistical techniques like Principal Component Analysis and Independent Samples t-test were used to quantify gender inequalities. Results show significant gender discrepancies in educational achievement. The gender-disaggregated School Education Index gives important information on the gender differences that are common in the educational field. The minimal values that have been recorded for both boys and females, which are about 0.23, indicate situations in which there is a notable gender disparity in school education and point to regions where interventions may be especially necessary. On the other hand, the slightly varying maximum values for men (0.945512) and women (0.907063) indicate that different settings or areas have made different progress toward gender equality. The average gender gap in school education is 0.704452 for men and 0.669682 for women, according to the School Education Index mean values. However, the gender gap is marginally smaller for women. In summary, although progress has been achieved in certain areas of gender parity, the research emphasizes the necessity of ongoing endeavors to tackle lingering disparities. Societies may create more inclusive and equitable environments where all people, regardless of gender, have the chance to prosper and contribute to societal growth by concentrating on certain projects, legislation, and educational interventions.
