Purpose: Starting from the current development trend of AIGC (AI Generated Content), reconstruct the pre design process of automotive styling, and improve the quality and efficiency of pre design of automotive styling; Explore new ideas for artificial intelligence assisted automotive styling design. Method: Firstly, extract and integrate engineering parameters and design keywords from business enterprise strategies as project inputs, form preliminary design concepts, and combine AI for thinking divergence; Secondly, a self built posture sample library covering all vehicle models in the field is used as derived prototype data, laying the foundation for team collaboration to outline three-dimensional tape diagrams; Then, the multi angle 3D tape image is imported into Stable diffusion to produce a controllable multi angle rendering scheme; Finally, modifications were made based on the body shape derived prototype according to the final plan, which not only facilitated team communication but also improved the design efficiency of the team. Result: A car styling design process based on artificial intelligence was constructed, clarifying the application methods and scope of AIGC in car styling design, and quickly achieving design transformation from 2 to 3D.Conclusion: This research method effectively improves the collaborative efficiency of creative design and digital design in the early stage of styling, promotes the development of the automotive styling design field, provides reference for automotive styling design, and proves the potential of AIGC technology in improving the efficiency and quality of automotive styling design.
