Research on Pedestrian Protection Simulation Method for Active Hood Lift System
摘要
This article discusses the development process of active hood lift system (AHLS). In order to obtain the target of AHLS deploying time, human body kinematics analysis is conducted. Especially, the deployment time and height of the AHLS are investigated through simulation and testing. Especially, in order to study the protection effect of active hood lift system (AHLS) on pedestrian head during vehicle collision, the HIC value is examined. The pedestrian protection performance and star rating results in the deployed and undeployed states are compared. It can be seen from the percentage of pedestrian scoring rates that the AHLS can greatly improve the pedestrian head impact protection performance.
