In other words, “modernization” is not only a historical concept, but more importantly, it implies different historical meanings. When concepts such as “slave society” and “feudal society” are mentioned, people tend to have a lifeless and spiritless image in their minds, while the concept of “modernization” gives people an image full of vitality, endless life, and constant change.
