Through every era of human history, water has always been one of humanity’s most important and vital sources of energy. The underground aquifer is being severely stressed by the ever-increasing demand for fresh water; this causes salt levels to rise and water levels to drop. In many places of the world, getting your hands on clean water is a challenge. Reduced precipitation due to global warming is causing problems in many places of the world. The presence of fresh water, which used to be found in rivers, lakes, and ponds in large quantities, is becoming more restricted. In addition, the large discharge of sewage and industrial effluents is leading to a degradation of the available resources, which is further contributing to the problem. The abundance of drinkable water is a significant issue all throughout the world and in India, particularly in the rural areas. In such a location, the only remaining choice is to produce distilled water for consumption. When distilling water, a number of different parameters must be taken. This investigation indicates, the water depth, the angle at which the glass is tilted, the solar distillation process depends significantly on the solar still's design and the amount of solar radiation. The production of distilled water is significantly boosted when nanoparticles, phase change materials, reflectors, marbles, stone, etc. are included in the construction of the still, as well as when they are added to the process.

摘要
