In this paper, the monthly performance of experimental off-grid 10.4 kWp greenhouse-integrated semi-transparent photovoltaic thermal (GiSPVT) system for different climatic and weather conditions has been presented. Based on monthly performance of GiSPVT system, carbon credit, [CO2]redit, and energy matrices have been evaluated. Further, analysis of maintenance of such off-grid greenhouse cum photovoltaic system in Indian rural area has also been carried out along with various points considered during the operation of GiSPVT system. Effect of strong wind, ambient air temperature, water pond inside greenhouse, and SPV roof cooling of GiSPVT along advantages and disadvantages have been carried out briefly. Further, microgrid analysis between GiSPVT and BERS PUBLIC SCHOOL has also been studied. It has been observed that the proposed GiSPVT system can work smoothly throughout year if properly designed for cold climatic condition with different packing factors. Final recommendations have also been proposed for such microgrid PV system for future installation.
