The best environmentally friendly and long-lasting technique for preserving agricultural products is solar drying them. Product conservation will rise with the development of efficient drying system design and drying characteristics for agricultural goods. The exploration and analysis of a parabolic hybrid active greenhouse solar drier in order to remove the crops’ moisture ratio is the main topic of the current research project. The greenhouse dryer is integrated with a SAH and installed at MITS Gwalior. During the winter, the dryer is run in active mode, and experiments are conducted with and without SAH and open sun drying (OSD). From their starting moisture contents of 893.3% (wb) and 91% (wb), green chilli and okra are dried to 5% (wb) and 7.53% (wb), respectively. Green chilli and okra dry in 32 h and 26 h when dried with HAS, 40 h and 31 h when dried without SAH, and 48 h and 37 h when dried with OSD, respectively. The experimented drying rate for WSAH case is 69 × 10–7 kg/s and 10.7 × 10–8 kg/s for green chilli and okra, respectively. The dryer’s efficiency was recorded as 28% in case of WSAH, while 22% in case of WOSAH. The percentage of time saving in case of WSAH are 33.33% and 29.72% for green chilli and okra, respectively, while in case of WOSAH, the % percentage saving of time are 16.67% and 16.21% for green chilli and okra, respectively.
