Nanotechnology in Horticulture Crops: Current Trends and Future Prospects
摘要
In horticulture crops, nanotechnology holds enormous promise. Horticultural crops’ production, productivity, and shelf life can all be improved using nanotechnology. There is more potential for nanotechnology to extend the life and shelf life of horticulture crops. Packaging materials made from nanomaterials (NMs) help maintain the quality of horticulture produce. Additionally, the NMs-based packaging inhibits the growth of microorganisms in packed horticulture produce. Hence nanoparticles (NPs) have a great deal of promise for addressing and resolving post-harvest issues in horticulture crops.
