Blockchain-Driven Roundabout Production Network: Ensuring Trust, Recognizability, and Transparency in the Agri-Food Supply Chain
摘要
A significant difficulty in the food business and its supply chain pertains to the prevalence of food waste. These remnants are generally seen as refuse and swiftly discarded, leading to a forfeiture of potential economic worth. This economic loss can be alleviated by implementing circular economy ideas and acknowledging these remnants as valuable materials for alternative processes. Blockchain technology provides an exact solution to the intricacies of handling recurring supplies. This research study seeks to establish a framework for a circular supply chain management system within the agri-food sector, utilizing the advantages of blockchain technology. The essential components to create a circular supply chain (CSC) are Trust, Traceability, and Transparency (TTT). The suggested framework seeks to integrate the three circular processes–recycling, redistribution, and remanufacturing—with the three pivotal components of blockchain technology—trust, traceability, and transparency–to establish circular blockchain platforms. The findings underscore the prospective function of blockchain as a technological remedy to enhance waste management and product recovery.
