Concise updates on recent advances in the JPEG AI, MPEG VCM, and MPAI-EEV standards are provided, highlighting their evolution, which closely mirrors that of the IEEE AI standard. The latest developments in this area are also presented. Finally, the main results and implications discussed throughout the chapter are presented.
