Total Energy Consumption and Carbon Emissions
摘要
In the long term, a variety of factors will lead to the decline in China’s total energy consumption. First, the adjustment of economic growth and the shift of growth drivers are conducive to the control of total energy consumption; second, the upgrading of industrial structure will help the gradual reduction of energy intensity in all industries; in particular, the shift from labor and energy-intensive industries to knowledge and technology-intensive industries in the secondary industry and the shift from consumer services to producer services in the tertiary industry will both propel the reduction of energy intensity; third, the progress in technology, popularization of energy conservation and changes in consumption habits will also improve energy utilization efficiency.
