The Spin Torque Nano Oscillator (STNO) is an indispensable device in the emerging field of Spintronics, a term derived from “Spin-based Electronics.” Electrons possess both charge and spin as intrinsic properties; the incorporation of spin introduces a new dimension, leading to the field of Spintronics. This additional degree of freedom, known as spin, opens efficient data transfer and storage possibilities using Spin Transfer Torque (STT). It plays a pivotal role in designing Magnetic Random-Access Memory (MRAM) through the Magnetization Switching principle. Furthermore, STT is crucial in STNO devices for generating microwave frequency oscillations. The applications extend to everyday uses, including signal processing and wireless communications. This review article delves into different types of STNO-based devices, discusses strategies to achieve high frequency and power, and summarizes key aspects of this manuscript.

摘要
