Static and Transient Structural and Steady State Thermal Analysis on Automobile Wheel Varying Core Wall Material of Honeycomb Structure
摘要
One of the main objectives for the creation of wheels is light weight. In this work, a novel kind of car wheel is suggested. The tread, spokes, and wheel hub make up the wheel. The honeycomb structure serves as the foundation for the spoke configuration, which takes the wheel's load-bearing capacity into account. By changing the material of the honeycomb structure's core wall, the analysis is conducted. The main materials are structural steel, aluminum alloy, carbon fiber, and polyethylene. The mechanical performances are examined, and the findings indicate the maximum stress and deformation that may be achieved while still meeting the design specifications for the wheel's strength and stiffness.
