Implementation and Optimization of Agro-Voltaic Greenhouse Systems for Sustainable Agriculture and Energy Efficiency in Diverse Climates
摘要
The increasing demand for flowers means we must find better ways to grow them sustainably, especially with the changing climate. Greenhouses, which offer controlled environments, are a good option, but they need careful management of the conditions inside. This study looks at the important factors affecting how flowers grow in these environments and suggests a more precise method for controlling these conditions. Our idea is to use agro-voltaic systems, which help save energy, in combination with the greenhouse. We want to test how well this system works in different climates across India and show how it can help us use resources better and grow flowers more sustainably. We aim to improve greenhouse technology to make flower growing more resilient and sustainable, even as the environment changes. This study aims to design an agro-voltaic system coupled with a greenhouse to meet energy requirements and validate its performance in different climatic conditions across India. We evaluate energy generation, shadow length, and light requirements inside the greenhouse using transparent and opaque solar panels. The experimental setup at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, includes a naturally ventilated greenhouse with specific climatic conditions. Data analysis and simulations are conducted using Python, focusing on solar radiation angles, system performance, and cost analysis.
