E-recruitment platforms have dramatically changed the hiring landscape by connecting job seekers and recruiters more efficiently than ever before. This paper presents a comparative analysis of job portals, specifically LinkedIn and Naukri, from the perspective of job seekers. With the integration of AI-powered competency assessments, job portals are advancing towards a more personalized and efficient recruitment process. This research analyzes the access, relevance, cost, trust, and quality of information delivered through such websites using the Weighted Average Score model and information obtained from the job applicants. It highlights how AI is transforming competency-based recruitment and indicates where improvement in the user-centric delivery can be expected for the job portal websites. Ultimately, this study seeks to illuminate the evolving role of technology in enhancing recruitment efficiency and user satisfaction on leading job portals. This research identifies that LinkedIn excels in user satisfaction, especially in ease of access, relevance of job recommendations, and AI-based personalization, whereas Naukri excels in cost-effectiveness. There is still scope for improvement in AI-based personalization and mobile optimization. It take in an evaluation of what is happening in the world of AI and technology about the efficient use of all these platforms causing the engagement of the users and more accuracy in job matching. Further, it is going to cause quite an impact in the future. Certain it is; a vast area still lies in how the user-orientation delivery could improve further upon job portal websites.
