The distributed city model proposed earlier in this book is an ideal city composed of distributed spaces, distributed energy, distributed transportation, distributed water services, and distributed waste treatment systems. Can such a city truly achieve ‘carbon neutrality’? The author team of this book has been commissioned by several local governments to conduct research on low-carbon strategic planning. Below, taking a city, City AA, as an example, we introduce how a distributed city achieves low-carbon development.
