To satisfy the analysis and service requirements of spatial data for comprehensive transportation planning, a data fusion method integrated with geospatial data, infrastructure data, statistical data, business data, and others has been proposed. It is based on multi-source heterogeneous databases and hybrid Geographical Information System (GIS) engines. Research has been conducted on the spatial data analysis methods for points, lines, and areas on the “One Map” of Transportation Planning. As a result, key requirements of dynamic linking, interactive display, overlay analysis, and aggregation calculation of geospatial data and planning attribute data have been effectively addressed, which has significantly facilitated the use and operation of digital technology for comprehensive transportation planning.
