The perovskite multiferroic nanomaterials gone through potential advancement and have been widely explored due to their multifunctional properties and characteristics. These materials ferroelectric and magnetic orderings display coupling effects, allowing for multifunctionality—highly desirable in advanced biomedical applications. Innovative healthcare solutions are made possible by the combination of nanotechnology and multiferroic perovskite materials that opens up new research directions in biomedicine. The surge of attraction in perovskite multiferroic nanomaterials has been driven by various physical phenomena synthesis, characterization, and potential application in biomedicine. Specially, perovskite multiferroic nanomaterials are being investigated for biomedical applications include in biosensing, imaging, and tissue engineering, health care, antimicrobial, antibacterial, drug delivery systems and targeted therapy, etc. The biomedical applications discussed here are critically driven in the context of current scaling up of synthesis of these materials while maintaining their stability and safety in biological environments. In this chapter, the properties, characteristic, biomedical applications, challenges and future aspects of perovskite multiferroic nanomaterials have been discussed in details.
