Optimizing Solar Power Integration with Building Rooftops: The Time Lag Approach
摘要
In this paper, the performance of building-integrated semitransparent photovoltaics, along with a water mass, has been analyzed for cold and hot climatic conditions in New Delhi, India. The water temperature, room air temperature, solar cell temperature, solar cell electrical efficiency, electrical output, and daylight savings have been calculated. Furthermore, the impact of different packing factors on the proposed system has also been studied. The solar cell’s electrical efficiency has been measured at 14.9% during peak hours in cold climates and at 9.7% in hot climates, indicating a 65.10% reduction.
