摘要
This study aims to investigate the intricate process of crafting toys that not only encourage environmentally responsible play but also celebrate the exceptional quality of local craftsmanship. It rigorously evaluates the viability of bamboo and other sustainable materials for creating toys distinguished by their durability, safety, and aesthetic value. The research underscores the unique characteristics of bamboo, including its rapid growth and versatility, while also showcasing a toy developed through an innovative design process. By actively getting engaged throughout the design and production stages, this research seeks to elevate the bamboo craft community and cultivate a framework for sustainable development. The findings are derived from a comprehensive literature review of secondary sources, alongside the practical application of products developed through the double diamond design framework. It envisions a future where toys not only bring joy but also act as catalysts for positive social and environmental change, particularly when utilized as souvenirs. This initiative aims to showcase the local artistic talent, facilitate a more promising, socially responsible, and economically engaged future through the production and dissemination of sustainable souvenir products. Overall, the use of bamboo and sustainable materials in the creation of the bamboo game demonstrates a commitment to environmental stewardship, serving as an example of moral production practices in the gaming business and promoting tourism through products.
