Design for sustainability is an approach which considers the environmental, social, and economic aspects of design. It works on sustainable material selection, energy-efficient solutions, and collaborative platforms for supporting toward a low-carbon world. The study underscores the growing need for expertise in sustainability from within graphic design, the thirst for better training and exposure to sustainable principles, as well as touching on the part that the audience plays in this change.
