This project introduces the development of an intelligent floor cleaning robot aimed at simplifying indoor cleaning tasks. The robot uses an Arduino Uno microcontroller and an L2983D motor driver shield for efficient navigation and obstacle detection. The Arduino controller is the heart of the robot and controls the motion of the robot and drive units are used to regulate the speed of the motor. The developed robot is embedded with sensor units for automatic obstacle detection. The system’s software is developed using the Arduino IDE which incorporates sophisticated algorithms for obstacle avoidance and navigation. A standout feature of this intelligent cleaning robot is its advanced obstacle detection capability by ensuring both safety and operational efficiency. This smart floor cleaning robot presents an economical and accessible solution for automating cleaning tasks, reducing manual labor, and enhancing convenience.
