SightScribe—Revolutionizing Transcribing for the Visually Impaired
摘要
One of the most significant obstacles facing visually impaired students in their academic journey is locating scribes to help them finish their assignments and tests. According to the list, the primary barriers include inaccessible, costly, resource-poor, offer inconsistent services, and lack of awareness among educators. These challenges could further complicate the educational path for visually impaired pupils and have an impact on their academic performance and achievement. The suggested remedy is to use speech-to-text recognition, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) to help visually impaired students complete written exams and assignments on their own. A program that is installed locally that has the ability to read text on a question paper and convert student speech to text.
