A prevalent mental health issue that seriously hinders people’s ability to operate daily routine is called the post-traumatic stress disorder in short (PTSD). Traditional therapeutic approaches exposure therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) had certain drawbacks in terms of long-term patient participation, accessibility, and individuality. This study introduces a novel virtual reality (VR) therapy coupled with artificial intelligence (AI) to offer personalized, adaptable, and immersive therapeutic experiences tailored to the needs of PTSD patients. We are using AI to monitor patients’ emotional and physiological reactions in real time leading to dynamic changes to the virtual environment. This system tries to close gaps in the available PTSD treatment modalities and enhanced therapeutic outcomes. The system can be a new and perhaps better alternative to current therapies because of its benefits, ensuring improved patient participation, real-time adaptability, and remote accessibility.

摘要
