This study explores effective communication methods to prompt evacuation during riverine floods, aiming to minimize casualties. Based on the hypothesis that relatives outside affected areas can encourage evacuation via calls or SMS, survey data from multiple regions in Japan were analyzed. Findings highlight regional differences and propose tailored strategies for community-wide early evacuation.
