Hybrid-Energy Enhanced Technologies for Sustainable Machining
摘要
Clean and sustainable cutting methods are at the forefront of global development, playing a crucial role in strategic initiatives such as Germany’s Industry 4.0, China’s 13th and 14th Five-Year Plans, and the “Made in China 2025” program. National policies aimed at achieving “carbon neutrality,” “carbon peak,” and transitioning to new economic drivers are accelerating this shift. Many manufacturing nations have implemented stringent regulations and standards to foster innovation in traditional manufacturing methods. Examples include the international greenhouse gas standard ISO 14067:2018 on product carbon footprints, China’s Law on Cleaner Production Promotion, and the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB 8978-2002). In light of these national strategies, policies, and regulations, adopting cleaner practices is now essential for the transformation and modernization of traditional manufacturing industries.
