The objective of the music platform focuses on using blockchain and machine learning to revolutionize the music industry in terms of fairness in compensation to artists and quality of music for the listeners. Through the platform, artists are able to upload songs, distribute the royalties automatically using smart contracts and store the content safely by using the IPFS. Adjustable royalty pay-out structure applied based on streaming data provides a fair and equitable compensation. The proposed decentralized music platform also introduces Time-Bound NFTs and gives artists tools to deliver timely content that users can access or renew for a fee using NFTs, creating new monetization paths. The platform also embeds a highly effective recommendation system leveraging a hybrid of TF-IDF and Cohere embeddings to generate musical recommendations closely aligned to the users’ profile. In order to protect the content’s originality, The platform uses a simple audio fingerprinting for the detection of duplicates leading to improvement of the platform’s credibility. The artists can as well get a full statistic analysis on a particular song for instance to diagnose its performance. Furthermore, using a machine learning-driven notification system takes the initiative to let the users and artists know what songs are popular, which NFTs are selling the fastest, and when they are getting royalty payments. These innovations place the platform as the crystal-clear ecosystem offering advanced solutions to artists and delivering the unique fun and personal environment for listeners, paving the way for change in the music streaming and sales industry.
