In this chapter, various examples of fluids are investigated to learn about what fluids are and what forces move fluids. A fluidFluid is a substance that flows and takes on different shapes depending on the shape of the container. In fluids at rest, the pressure remains constant at a given depth. The main forces that generate motion in fluids are gravity, pressure differences, friction, and diffusion by molecular attraction, or a combination of any of these forces.

摘要

In this chapter, various examples of fluids are investigated to learn about what fluids are and what forces move fluids. A fluidFluid is a substance that flows and takes on different shapes depending on the shape of the container. In fluids at rest, the pressure remains constant at a given depth. The main forces that generate motion in fluids are gravity, pressure differences, friction, and diffusion by molecular attraction, or a combination of any of these forces.
