Buckling Analysis of Laminated Skew Plates with and Without Central Circular Cutout
摘要
The investigation focused on finding the buckling behavior of skew laminated composite plates under uniaxial loading, considering a range of skew angles and ply orientations. The study initiates by altering skew angles and ply orientations, examining both clamped and simply supported edges. Further investigation is done by altering different ply angles [±θ]2 s. The investigation extends to configurations with aspect ratios a/b = 4 and a/b = 4 introducing a center cutout (d/b = 0.2). This involves scrutinizing the impact of different ply angles and skew angles on the buckling characteristics of the composite plates. Through these systematic investigations, the study aims to provide insights into the nuanced relationships between material orientation, geometric parameters, and boundary conditions, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the buckling phenomenon in skew laminated composite structures. The findings of this research hold significance for the design and optimization of such structures in practical applications within mechanical and structural systems.
