When it comes to healthcare innovation, the Internet of Things (IoT) has a tremendous impact. With the arrival of Medicine 4.0, there has been a flurry of activity in developing platforms, both in terms of hardware and the underlying software. Thanks to this foresight, Healthcare IoT (H-IoT) technologies have been developed. The sensing nodes’ ability to communicate with the processors and the algorithms used to process that data are the foundational technologies that allow the system to function. By moving processing power closer to the deployed network, the fog/edge concept is reducing the impact of numerous obstacles. However, big data makes it possible to process massive amounts of data. Blockchains are discovering the most innovative applications in H-IoT systems, while Software Defined Networks (SDNs) add system flexibility. Progress in H-IoT applications is being propelled by developments in the IoNT and the TI, or Tactile Internet. 摘要

But right now, a number of new technologies are bolstering these enabling technologies as well. Almost every aspect of H-IoT systems has been revolutionized by the usage of AI. This chapter explores how these technologies are changing H-IoT systems and finds out how to use these changes to improve QoS in future.
