Microstructural analyses of polymers were described based on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. Stereochemical analysis was explained in terms of how the assignment should be performed. Analysis of monomer sequences was explained in terms of monomer reactivity ratios and prediction of sequence fractions using multivariate analyses. Chain-end analysis was described from the viewpoint of polymerization mechanisms.
