摘要
The concept of social determinants of health acknowledges that health outcomes are shaped not only by individual life habits or availability of healthcare services but also by social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors. This chapter explores the global perspectives of SDoH and examines how these determinants influence human well-being. It also explores the multifaceted nature of health equity, highlighting the challenges and opportunities for promoting health equity across diverse populations and regions. This chapter thus comprehensively underscores the importance of addressing social determinants of health through global initiatives to foster collaborative efforts to achieve health equity for all.
