Synthesis and Evaluation of Mechanical and Physical Properties of Eco-friendly, Biodegradable Fiber Composites
摘要
This work presents presents a novel method of ecofreindly packaging, the production of the ecofriendly material and reliability of a sustainable carry bag made up of banana fiber. Now, the government has banned single use plastic bags and promotes ecofriendly substitutes, one of the prominent area is packaging. In this project, the authors have introduced a purely natural material for a bag using banana fiber and natural adhesive. This will help in keeping the environment cheery and free from pollution. By implementation to our project, we can try reducing the plastic consumption and make the world rid of plastics. Natural fibers are better as compared to polymers like polythene and plastic fibers in terms of natural adaptability, cost savings and sometimes even low density. They are stable while applied in many different applications. Synthetic fibers are byproducts of petroleum based byproducts and are harmful. The presented sheets of natural fibers are found to be a proper substitition or as reinforcement for composites , because reinforcing eco friendly polymer materials with natural fiber for production is very cheap, renewable, and environmentally friendly.
