The United Kingdom Alliance for Disaster Research (UKADR) has remained active since around the time of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction in 2015. Its work is focused on the allied processes of disaster risk reduction and its contexts, through being a scientific, practice and policy informed research alliance. Its institutional partners and activities have expanded and become more embedded, but also outward looking, with several notable additional steps achieved since it last reported to a GADRI summit. The alliance is reviewing its research priorities on a continual basis and has also established an Early Career Researchers and Practitioners [ECRP] Group.
