Identifying and monitoring unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or drones, has become an essential practice across many areas. With the rapid growth of the drone industry, which reached a value of $24.72 billion in 2020, drones have become widely accessible to the public. The increased use of drones has led to notable concerns regarding security and privacy. This research discusses the development of a drone detection and the process to alert system, which leverages optical vision technology and integrates third-party software for notification alerts. By analyzing camera images, the system can identify the presence of drones in the sky and issue real-time alerts accordingly.
