This paper tackles the challenges associated with efficient multimedia delivery over wireless networks by exploring the application of network coding techniques. It highlights the potential of these techniques to bring about substan­tial improvements in throughput and reliability, particularly in congested net­works or during high-demand situations. Network coding techniques enable the simultaneous transmission of multiple data packets over wireless channels, en­hancing the efficiency and robustness of multimedia delivery. By leveraging these techniques, wireless networks can mitigate the effects of congestion and provide reliable multimedia streaming experiences even in challenging network conditions. The study sheds light on how network coding can be a promising solution for optimizing multimedia delivery over wireless networks.
