Wavelet Transform and SRResNet Based Image Compression and Transmission Scheme with Beidou Short Message

In the current application scenario of power inspection, the combination of Beidou and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) inspection offers significant advantages. The UAV utilizes Beidou's high-precision positioning device for autonomous inspection, arriving at designated lo-cations to capture images and transmit them back to the receiver with functions such as automatic take-off cruise, image intelligent recognition interpretation, and image acquisition. This approach allows for flexible monitoring of power equipment. Faced with the problems such as low efficiency of compressed images, unstable transmission, poor reconstruction technology, and subpar user experience during the image acquisition and transmission process in power inspection, this paper proposes a Beidou short message progressive image compression and transmission scheme based on adaptive threshold wavelet transform and Super-Resolution Residual Network (SRResNet). This scheme aims to effectively reduce data redundancy, improve transmission efficiency, and enhance the user experience. The simulation results demonstrate that the performance of proposed scheme is better than the comparison scheme, and the effectiveness of proposed scheme is verified.
