As the space of people's activities becomes larger and more complex, the locating management of specific personnel and assets becomes more and more difficult, and the demand for real-time locating becomes increasingly strong. At the same time, new retail, intelligent manufacturing, smart medical, emergency rescue and other industries also need to identify the location of specific objects. At present, different from the outdoor satellite locating domination, indoor locating technology shows a blooming scene, mainly including Wi-Fi locating, Bluetooth locating, UWB locating, RFID locating, magnetic locating, visual locating inertial navigation locating and multi-source fusion locating and so on. Different indoor locating technologies have their own advantages and limitations. Using a single locating technology or combining multiple locating technologies can meet different requirements for locating performance in different application scenarios. This paper analyzes the characteristics and differences of different real-time locating systems by studying the reference architecture. 摘要

To solve the problem of testing and evaluating different real-time locating systems, a unified performance metrics and related testing methods are proposed.
