We propose a satellite positioning-assisted mobility management method for fixed, mobile, and NGSO satellite fusion networks. This method introduces a communication calendar that includes NGSO satellite ephemeris and terrestrial communication calendar. Based on the communication calendar, the trusted multi-connection UE selects one or more connections among fixed, mobile, and NGSO satellites by calculating the connection evaluation value. It simplifies the mobility management process, reduces the signaling overhead, improves the success rate of active satellite switching, and can effectively meet the requirements of location-based services. Compared with the traditional solution, it solves the problem that multi-connected UEs need to manually select fixed, mobile, and NGSO satellites for connection, and avoids converged networks basically following the mobility management method of mobile networks, preventing converged networks from being unable to obtain the precise location of multi-connected UEs, and multi-connected UEs from needing to establish connections with multiple satellites at the same time, and so on.
